- The PI of the THEMIS mission is
V. Angelopoulos ("vassilis (at) ucla.edu").
- The co-Is of FGM are
K. H. Glassmeier ("kh.glassmeier (at) tu-braunschweig.de"),
U. Auster ("uli.auster (at) tu-braunschweig.de"),
and W. Baumjohann ("baumjohann (at) oeaw.ac.at").
- The co-Is of ESA are
C. W. Carlson ("cwc (at) ssl.berkeley.edu")
and J. P. McFadden ("mcfadden (at) ssl.berkeley.edu").
- The co-Is of SST are
D. Larson ("davin (at) ssl.berkeley.edu")
and R. P. Lin ("boblin (at) ssl.berkeley.edu").
- The final data for publications must be checked by the PI and co-Is.
- The publication figures must be checked with the PI and co-Is.
- Credit for publications must be given to "NASA NAS5-02099".
- See the rules of the road (UCB SSL).
- The data and spacecraft locations are in GSM coordinates.
- For the FGM data, Level-2 (L2) spin-resolution (3 sec) data are plotted.
- In the ion and electron energy-time spectrograms,
L2 full distribution ESA and SST flux data are plotted below and above the white line around ~30 keV, respectively.
- Except for the second panel from the bottom in the THA-E (P1-5) plots,
the black lines indicate ion moments calculated from L2 ESA full distribution data ("if"), while the purple lines indicate ion moments calculated from L2 ESA reduced distribution data ("ir") or calculated onboard (L2 MOM, "im").
The blue dots indicate electron moments calculated from L2 ESA full distribution data ("ef"), while the light blue dots indicate electron moments calculated from L2 ESA reduced distribution data ("er") or calculated onboard (L2 MOM, "em").
- In the second panel from the bottom in the THA-E (P1-5) plots,
the black and purple lines indicate the total pressure (the sum of the ion and magnetic pressures) from the "if" and "ir"/"im" data, respectively,
while the blue and light blue lines indicate the ion pressure from the "if" and "ir"/"im" data, respectively.
- See the THEMIS mission web site for further details.
