Welcome to DARTS/Yohkoh
About Yohkoh
Yohkoh (meaning Sun-light in Japanese) is the Japanese second solar astronomical satellite following "Hinotori". Yohkoh was launched on August 30, 1991, and had been carrying out solar observations till December 15, 2001, when the satellite battery condition suffered from the solar eclipse. Yohkoh vividly revealed the dynamics of solar flares in soft and hard X-rays with unprecedented preciseness.
