About ISS-IMAP

The ISS-IMAP(Ionosphere,Mesosphere,upper Atomosphere, and Plasmasphere mapping) mission intends to seek the causes of climate oscillation of the Earth and the reception difficulty and deterioration of satellite communication and the global positioning system (GPS) navigation devices.

The scientific instruments were delivered to ISS-JEM on July 21, 2012. The initial observation was started in August 2012, and the regular observation was started on October 15.
