Suzaku and Hinode Archives Open!

Suzaku and Hinode are JAXA's X-ray astronomy satellite and solar astronomical satellite, launched on 10 July 2005 and 23 September 2006, respectively. Initially, data taken by these satellites may be used only by satellite team members, but eventually all the observational data are released to the scientists all over the world.

Coincidentally, Suzaku and Hinode teams decided to release a large volume of their initial data on the same day, 27 May 2007. Now these data are publicly available from Suzaku/DARTS or Hinode/DARTS. Announcements of the public data release have been made by the Suzaku team and the Hinode team independently.

You can freely use these public data, and carry out research on X-ray astronomy or Solar astronomy, and publish scientific papers. Enjoy, and good luck for your exciting scientific results!
